What is the Vehicle Assistance Program?
This program provides financial assistance of up to $2,000 for a vehicle purchase or $1,000 towards repairs to an existing vehicle.
Who is eligible for the Vehicle Assistance Program (VAP)?
Residents of Bedford, Huntingdon, Fulton, Mifflin, and Juniata counties.
You must be employed or receive a notice of employment with a start date no later than 10 days after intake; or be pursuing post-secondary education 20 hours a week or more.
You must be at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines.
