Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, predatory loans, and other skills. The lack of these skills is called financial illiteracy.

Financial Literacy Workshops are classes, usually consisting of 4 or 5 students, gathered together to learn about budgeting, predatory loans, opening a checking account, balancing a checking account, needs vs. wants, and other various financial skills.
