The Medical Assistance Transportation Program (“MATP”) is available to any Medical Assistance consumer who needs help with non-emergency transportation to and from health care services or treatments.

What is the Medical Assistance Transportation program?
This program has two parts:
- People who are able to drive to medical related locations can be reimbursed up to $0.25 per mile.
- If you are unable to transport yourself, you can schedule appointment transportation through the aging office with no copay. If your appointment does not fall within the schedule of the transportation van, we can help find you transportation.
Who is eligible for MATP?
Anyone with Medicaid.
What is Person’s with Disabilities?
PWD allows you to schedule transportation through the department of aging for most medical trips/general travel. Copay is required.
Who is eligible for PWD?
You must be between the ages of 18-59 with a verified disability.
