CCA's Victoria Bowser and Kyle Siskron-Leonard Promote PIT Count set for January 22, 2025

Center for Community Action (CCA), Beale Ave. Office, Altoona, Pa. staff members, Victoria Bowser and Kyle Siskron-Leonard represented the agency at Seven Mountains Media on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. They participated in several radio interviews and recorded a Public Service Announcement to share the word about the upcoming Point-in-Time (PIT) Count to be held on January 22, 2025 from 5:00pm-9pm.

The PIT Count is a count of literally homeless individuals in our community so that we can better understand the need. Basic necessities and food are offered to the individuals. During the interviews, Victoria and Kyle emphasized the importance of this count and how it helps shape housing and human services programs. They also discussed how the community can get involved through volunteering, donating, or raising awareness.

Victoria and Kyle thanked Seven Mountains Media for giving them the time to amplify the message on this important annual count.
