Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP)

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) assists individuals that have Medicaid/Medical Assistance and a Medical Assistance related transportation need. This program provides assistance with non-emergency transportation to medical providers for treatment and/or evaluation, and purchasing of prescription drugs or medical equipment, as deemed eligible under Medical Assistance reimbursement.

Once your MATP application is approved, you may begin to receive mileage reimbursement of $0.25/mile. If you are unable to transport yourself, you can schedule transportation to appointments through the Area Agency on Aging with no co-pay. If your appointment does not fall within the CART schedule, we can help you find transportation.
